When using the Perforated Half Sheet, parchment paper, silicone baking mats, butter, or shortening and flour methods all work well. For roasting savory foods like vegetables, using butter or cooking oil is recommended. It's also best to use nylon, wood, or silicone utensils to prevent scratching the natural aluminum pan, although scratches will not impact its baking performance.

Please note that aluminum may react with acidic ingredients such as vinegar and tomato products, potentially causing darkening, pitting, or corrosion over time.
